Santa Catherina – 1 day tour

The 1 day Santa Catherina tour starts from Eilat (Israel) and goes out regularly, except for Friday & Sunday, when the Monastery is closed.

We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Taba border. After crossing Taba border we drive along the shores of the Red Sea and through an ever-changing area of bizarre Sandstone-Formations to the Sinai High Mountain Range. Arriving at St. Catherine, we visit the famous St. Catherine’s Monastery, including the Church, dated back to the 6th Century and never destroyed since then, “The Burning Bush”, and “Jetro’s Well”. After lunch in a tourist class restaurant we drive back to Eilat, stopping by a few interesting sites on the way, according to the remaining time.

The tour takes approximately 10 hours - pickup at 06:00am and back to Taba border around 16:00pm .

Price: $139 per person

Requires minimum 2 participants.

The tour to Santa Catherina includes: Pick up from the hotel (in Eilat), transportation, english speaking guide, entrance fees, lunch.

The tour to Santa Catherina does not include: border taxes ($38), drinks, tips, travelers' medical insurance, transportation back to the hotel in Eilat (after crossing back to Israel).
